BodhiGen looks at your genes from a functional perspective – how your genes may be affecting the functioning of your body. This may reveal certain risk factors and imbalances such as a predisposition to high cholesterol, low vitamin D, neurotransmitter imbalances and other issues, but it will not identify specific disease risk polymorphisms.

There are certain well-researched polymorphisms that may indicate a heightened risk of some diseases such as breast cancer, Alzheimer’s disease and Parkinson’s disease. This information does not show up in your BodhiGen data.

BodhiGen is a nutrigenomic analysis focused on optimising the functioning of your body. It is not designed to replace medical advice or medically focused genetic testing that looks at your risk of developing specific diseases. Anyone concerned about genetic disease risk should consult their doctor.
