Pre-Retreat Recommendations

 

Please try to adhere to the following recommendations at least seven days prior to your arrival:

Avoid Caffeine

Try to remove processed foods from your diet and include plenty of fresh food in your diet.

Reduce Processed Food

Please reduce your sugar consumption to a minimum before the retreat. Check the food you are eating as sugar is hidden in many foods.

Moderate Salt

Please keep salt to a healthy and moderate level before the retreat.

Avoid Alcohol

Please try to remove alcohol.

Avoid Tobacco and Electronic Cigarettes  

If you are a smoker we advise that you cut down on smoking before your retreat. You can do this by only smoking at meal times. On retreat it would be ideal for you to abstain from smoking, however should you decide to smoke then please smoke outside and away from other guests. Electronic Cigarettes are also not to be smoked inside or near other guests.

Drink Water

It is important to increase hydration levels in the days before the retreat. Please aim to drink 2.5 litres of bottled or filtered water, sipping it throughout the day.
